PPG's automotive refinish business has welcomed the  motorcycle world with celebrities, custom bikes, new paint products and much  more in booth 769 at the 13th annual V-Twin Expo, Feb. 2-3, at the Duke Energy  Convention Center in Cincinnati. The trade show, open to motorcycle retailers  and manufacturers, is sponsored by Easyriders, one of the nation's most  popular biking magazines.

PPG is teaming with Dave and Jody Perewitz for the  show. The father-daughter duo, two of the custom motorcycle world's best-known  members, will display their bikes at the PPG booth and appear there Saturday  and Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon, greeting fans, signing autographs and talking about VIBRANCE COLLECTION® custom finishes and DELTRON® products by PPG.

Dave Perewitz, dubbed the "King of Flames" for his  flame paint schemes, is recognized as one of America's top motorcycle builders  and customizers. A PPG-product devotee, Perewitz consistently produces unique,  award-winning bikes at Perewitz Cycle Fabrication, his shop in Bridgewater,  Mass.

Jody Perewitz builds custom bikes, designs Perewitz  brand merchandise, and is just as comfortable riding a bike as she is building or painting one. In 2011, Jody ran a record 203.11 miles per hour stretch at  the Bonneville Salt Flats on a custom American V-Twin bike built by Team  J'Witz.
 
One unique motorcycle in the PPG booth will be a 2011 Harley-Davidson Road Glide owned by Jon Fox of Trenton, Ohio, and painted by Jim Boitnott of  Boitnott's Customs in Fairfield, Ohio. The bike's striking design scheme was  created with DELTRON® DBC Basecoat and DC3000 High Velocity Clearcoat,  along with Vibrance Collection finishes in Liquid Crystal O-So-Orange and Silver Star colors with RADIANCE® II Candy orange and blue tints.
 
 PPG will highlight products such as Deltron DPLV 2.1 VOC (volatile organic compound)-compliant epoxy primers, DC2000 Ultra Velocity Clear, new GLOBAL REFINISH SYSTEM® reduced-gloss clearcoats in D8115 Matte and D8117 Semi-Gloss, and DITZLER® BIG FLAKE™ products including seven recently-launched brilliant new flakes.  PPG also will feature works painted by the industry's elite automotive artists  as well as a speed-shape display showing various Vibrance Collection custom  finishes.
