PPG team aim for the summit for Rainbow Trust Charity

On 31st May 2012 PPG Industries will be climbing Mount Snowdon as part of the 'I Love Claims Great BIG Charity Challenge' to raise money for The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

12 members of the PPG team will be participating in the hike up the 3,560ft Mount Snowdon alongside members from ADR, Alton Cars, Fleetline, and Sopp & Sopp

Danni Aiken UK & Ireland Marketing Communications Manager comments "We are very excited to be climbing Mount Snowdon to support the Rainbow Trust charity. We plan to complete the climb in 5 hours and we hope that in doing so we can get some way towards the collective target of £500,000 for the I Love Claims 'Great BIG Charity Challenge' to raise funding for the Rainbow Trust"

The PPG Sales and Marketing members tackling Snowdon are: Danni Aiken, Gethyn Davies, Richard Denison, Martin Laugharne, Ian Maynard, John McGowan, Jodie Mullard, Alan Selby, Andy Smith, Dave Smith, Maxine Timlett and Paul Tranter.

Members of the team will be dressed as Rainbow characters Zippy, Bungle and George and in all the colours of the rainbow to raise awareness of the Rainbow Trust Charity who provide emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to support the families of ill children.

Danni adds "Everyone that makes a donation will be playing a part in supporting the tremendous efforts of Rainbow Trust Charity and allowing Rainbow to continue supporting the brave families of ill children through treatment and beyond for many years to come"
