PPG ranks #1 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies Ranking within its Industry Category

FORTUNE has published its annual ranking of “World’s Most Admired Companies.” PPG has featured in the top 5 ranks within the chemical category for the past three years. However, for the first time, PPG has ranked #1 in the chemicals category for 2017! 

 The “World’s Most Admired Companies” list is considered the definitive indicator on corporate reputations, and is based on a survey of around 4,000 executives, directors and analysts representing approximately 650 companies from more than 30 countries.

 PPG ranked #1 for multiple key attributes of reputation, such as people management, use of corporate assets, quality of management, financial soundness, long term investment value and global competitiveness. PPG also ranked highly for the other three key attributes of reputation, which helped determine the final decision.
